The Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce is changing up its executive.

At their annual general meeting Tuesday, chamber members approved a bylaw to alter the number of positions on their executive board.

The positions of first, second and third vice-president were eliminated in the restructuring and replaced by one vice-president post.

The bylaw also changes the chamber’s rules on quorum. Twelve members will now be needed to reach quorum at chamber meetings, down from 15 in the previous rules.

Twyla Storey was named the new vice-president, replacing Laurel Mackie. Formerly the chamber’s second vice-president, Storey was sworn in by executive member Dave Kendall.

The directors’ positions also changed. Serving as directors are incumbents Lawrence Gillespie, Dave Kendall and Cindy McLean along with former third vice-president Mary Dwernichuk. Appointed members also brought on Myrna Ewing as an additional director.

Previous directors Randy Daneliuk and Colleen McKee leave the executive. President-elect Karen MacKinnon, secretary Kory Eastman, treasurer Bunny Burke and past-president Tom Therien maintain their positions.
