Police have charged a Creighton woman with theft, fraud and forgery in relation to the alleged theft of money from a local not-for-profit organization.
In May 2015, Creighton RCMP received a complaint of funds possibly being stolen from the organization, which police did not identify.
On July 29, 2016, the accused was charged with 15 counts of theft, one count of fraud and one count of forgery. RCMP issued a news release about the charges this week.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Creighton provincial court on Nov. 15.
